Dr Peter Scougall is a Hand and Wrist Surgeon, with over 20 years in private practice.

He specialises in the surgical treatment of traumatic and elective hand and wrist conditions, including sports injuries, fractures, dislocations, Dupuytren’s contracture, tumours, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, ganglions and tendon and nerve conditions.

Special interests include sports injuries, acute wrist fractures and dislocations, finger fractures, tendon injuries and Dupuytren’s contracture.

Dr Scougall graduated with Honours from the University of Sydney in 1984. After completing his Orthopaedic training in Newcastle, he became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1994. Following a Trauma Surgery Fellowship in Innsbruck, Austria, he returned to Australia for Hand and Microsurgery Fellowships in Sydney (Sydney/St Luke’s Hospital Hand Units) and Melbourne (St Vincent’s Hospital).
